Powder colors are great for long shelf life, varied use and flexibility. Dissolve in neutral liquid ingredients like water or egg white and add to creams or batters. Terrific for meringue or macaroons, icings and decorating.
Color icings, batters or beverages. Add a little egg white or water and use like watercolors to paint cookies, icing surfaces, modeling chocolate. Can be used for face paint, hair dye or with homemade clays.
Use two to three times normal amount to create a deep red.
Use about 1/2 tsp to replace 1 Tbsp of liquid color. Dissolve in neutral liquid ingredients like water or egg white and then add to creams or batters.
There are about 6 teaspoons per container. We estimate a half ounce container will color enough icing for three or four typical 8" double tier cakes of light color or one cake of deeper red color.

Beet, annatto, class a caramel, tapioca starch. Vegan, gluten-free, no dairy or soy, non-GMO.

Use about 1/2 tsp to replace 1 Tbsp of liquid color. Dissolve in neutral liquid ingredients like water or egg white and then add to creams or batters. Store tightly covered in a cool, dry place. Keep away from moisture. Will keep one year or more at cool room temperatures if not contaminated.
